ตัวตนที่แสดงไปตามบทบาทหน้าที่เสมือนอาภรณ์ที่ถูกสวมใส่และผลัดเปลี่ยนให้เหมาะสมตามเวลาและบริบทกลายเป็นคำถามตกค้างในขวบปีที่เพิ่มขึ้น “What’s Preecha done” นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งที่ 2 ของปรีชา รักซ้อน นำเสนอความสงสัยและความขัดแย้งของตัวตนในต่างช่วงประสบการณ์ชีวิตผ่านผลงานต่อเนื่อง 3 ระยะ
รูปแบบในระยะพัฒนาจากผลงาน “The fighter” กลายมาเป็นวิธีการนำเสนอหลักใน ผลงานระยะถัดมา “Why We Fight” ตอนต่อเรื่องราวของศิลปินผู้ตกอยู่ในภาวะความขัดแย้งในโลกแห่งความคิดระหว่างภาระ ความต้องการและความสัมพันธ์กับผู้คนรอบข้าง เศษความคิดและความทรงจำจากเรื่องราวส่วนตัวของศิลปินที่ถูกประกอบใหม่ผ่านภาพจิตรกรรมที่ลำดับให้มีวิธีการอ่านต่อเนื่องจากภาพสู่ภาพ เปิดพาผู้ชมเข้าสู่เหตุการณ์อย่างกะทันหัน บนเวทีซึ่งไม่แสดงบริบทของสถานที่และเวลา กรอบของบทสนทนาถูกเว้นไว้ให้เราคล้ายจะได้ยินเสียง ทว่าไม่มีคำพูดใดๆเล็ดลอดออกมา ทำให้แม้ศิลปินจะเล่าเรื่องราวอย่างมีลำดับ เนื้อหาที่เล็ดลอดออกมากลับทิ้งช่องว่างขนาดใหญ่ของเรื่องราวที่ถูกปิดบังหรือไม่เอ่ยถึง
บทสนทนาย้ำคิดที่ยังคงไม่ได้รับคำตอบและถ่วงหนักมากขึ้นตามขนาดของภาระ ดำเนินมาสู่ผลงาน “Still” รูปแบบของตัวละครที่บิดเบี้ยว ประกอบจากใบหน้าในอารมณ์ที่หลากหลาย ถูกลอกกลายเป็นผ้า ขยายพาดทับร่างกายที่หนักอึ้ง แทนคำถามต่อตัวตนที่แสดงออกว่าเป็นเพียงหีบห่อที่เขาเลือกสวมใส่เพื่อต่อรองกับบริบท หรือเป็นไปด้วยเหตุผลบนจุดยืนของตนเอง สำหรับตัวศิลปิน ผลงานคือเป็นทั้งความคิดโต้ตอบต่อประสบการณ์ชีวิต เล่นย้อนภาพจำและความอลหม่านของความคิดทั้งสุขทุกข์ บทสนทนาโต้ตอบของเหล่าตัวละครอาจเปลี่ยนแปลงไปและถูกปะติดปะต่อขึ้นใหม่ ทุกครั้งที่ศิลปินแวะเวียนกลับมาตีความและเติมช่องว่างที่ตัวเขาเองได้เว้นเอาไว้ ผ้าที่ห่อหุ้มตัวเขาในเวลานี้จะถูกถลกทิ้งหรือหลอมรวมกลายเป็นตัวตนเดียวกันอีกครั้ง ศิลปินยังคงหาคำตอบด้วยมือที่หอบหิ้วภาระของเขาต่อไป
Enclosed characters exhibited by inescapable roles have become questions as being aged. Preecha Raksorn presented “What’s PREECHA done”, his second solo exhibition with curiosity and conflict of identities through 3 phases of his work.
Developed key form of “The fighter” in the initial phase came to be “Why We Fight”, a continued story of the artist himself in confliction of responsibility, desire and relationship. Bits of personal and imaginative moments were sequentially rearranged throughout multiple pieces of painting. Even though the story was placed in order, the situation was abruptly exposed on erased contexts, empty dialogue frames leak almost the sound but merely spoken words. Leave the big gap of absent or covered events.
The intricate conversation within weights down as the responsibilities extended. In the recent work, “Still”, chaotic emotions on distorted character had been peeled off to be a sheet of fabric, lied down enclosing the artist, as a question whether his identity is only coated by an exhibited package to negotiate with outer forces or the result of his own determination. For the artist himself, the work is reflection and records to his life, playing back memories along with chaotic sentiments. The conversation between each character might change every time the artist retrace and fulfill the blank space he has left. Whether this piece of fabric enclosing his body would be torn apart or fused to become his true identity, the artist still searching for the answer with his loaded hands
