นาย พีรเวทย์ กระแสโสม
ศิลปินจากแดนอีสานใต้ที่เติบโตจากวิถีชีวิตชนบทก่อนที่จะย้ายสู่ความเจริญในสังคมเมือง ในช่วงวัยเยาว์จึงมีประสบการณ์ผ่านวิถีชาวชนบท อาทิ เข้าป่า, เลี้ยงปศุสัตว์, เกษตรกรรม หรือแม้แต่การละเล่นผ่านวัสดุท้องถิ่น ซึ่งในทุกๆกิจกรรมได้สัมผัสต่อรูป รส กลิ่น สี รูปลักษณ์ของ สัตว์ พืช หิน ดิน ซากสิ่งมีชีวิต จึงเกิดคำถามต่อที่มาที่ไปของสิ่งที่พบเห็น สู่การเรียนรู้เพื่อหาคำตอบด้วยการสำรวจ งัด แงะ ตัด ผ่า มองให้เห็นเพื่อทำความเข้าใจต่อสิ่งนั้น ซึ่งกลายเป็นแนวคิดหลักของการทำงานโดยการอ้างอิงจากรูปร่างรูปทรงธรรมชาติ หลังจบปริญญาตรีศิลปินเริ่มงานทำงานเป็นศิลปินและนักออกแบบอิสระภายใต้ชื่อ Nebula Sunset ในรูปแบบงานทดลองไม่จำกัด จนเป็นที่สนใจในวงการศิลปะเชิงประยุกต์ศิลป์ ภายหลังเข้าสู่งานบริษัทประมาณ 6 ปี ด้านงานออกแบบกราฟิก, ฝ่ายศิลป์โทรทัศน์ และครีเอทีฟ จากนั้นได้เข้าศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท สาขาทัศนศิลป์ เพื่อเพิ่มทักษะและแนวคิดการทำงานศิลปะบริสุทธิ์มากขึ้น
การทำงานของศิลปินให้ความสนใจต่อรูปลักษณ์สิ่งแวดล้อมที่อาศัยและสัมผัส ที่ส่งอิทธิพลต่อความรู้สึก, ความคิด, อารมณ์ หล่อหลอมเกิดทัศนคติส่วนตนสู่การแสดงออกทางศิลปะ โดยนำเนื้อหาจากสิ่งแวดล้อมรอบตัวมาสร้างสรรค์ ธรรมชาติ, สังคม, สื่อ ผ่านเทคนิคและวิธีการเฉพาะตน เพื่อวิเคราะห์การมีตัวตนของต่อสรรพสิ่งรอบตัว ปัจจุบันศิลปินได้ประกอบอาชีพศิลปินอิสระและยังมีนิทรรศการอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมทั้งได้รับเชิญเป็นวิทยากรสอนตามสถาบันต่างๆ

Peerawayt Krasaesom
BORN : 2 June 1981, Surin , Thailand
LIVING : Bangkok, Thailand
Peerawayt grew up in the countryside (Isaan) from north east of Thailand before moving to the big city. Where it is extremely hot in summer, very cold in winter and incredibly wet during the rainy season. He spent his early childhood like a typical country boy in the woods, looking after animals and plants. He spent his boyhood time with nature; animals, river, plants, stone, soil and fossils were part of his play. Has passion for nature’s figures, sensitivities and scent. His curiosity for nature caused him to research and investigate deeply by observing and experimenting. Grasping a deep understanding of nature is his main purpose and has now become an inspiration.
During his studies and after he graduated was and independent artist; he tried-out art liberally. He became well-known in the art society by using ‘Nebula Sunset’ as his designation. Worked for 6 years as a graphic designer and in art production for television. Later, he continued to further study a Master degree in visual arts in the aim to develop his skills and knowledge in the subject.
Always he is following media information. TV, radio, newspaper, book, movie, internet. Media are powerful in case of changing opinions and values of people in a society. Peerawayt has selected his own feelings towards characters or scenes in media that have impressed him, and turned them into paintings through his personal forms and techniques. His paintings reveal a structure of humans and object’ internal organs which shows viewers an essence rather than an outer appearance. The paintings also implicitly present viewers with an existence or a living. Peerawayt’s lines from his paintbrush moves freely in his works reflect an unstoppable living as well.
Surroundings and experiences have had a major influence on his emotions and thought. These experiences build up his personal attitudes and concepts which are then expressed through his artwork.
