the life cycle of the faith

In Thailand. We have a million ways to make merit such as give money to some charity but some activities made me feel bad for it. It’s called ‘Pay money to free the bird’. a hundred of birds have to live in a little cage before the cellar separate them in a plastic bag with a tiny hole for breathing before they sell them. This point pushed me to do the thesis of Fine Art “The life cycle of the faith” for stop the cycle of some faith. I bring the human shape, figure of birds and colours to create pieces of work by using human acting to form the sculpture by hand forming technique. The oxide colour , the mixture of oxide colour stain and some coloured clay in cream , stone ware clay used in my 41 pieces of work. This project I put stain colour and oxide colour in different proportion and use technique of hand forming of stone ware clay and burn in 1220 Celsius of oxidation atmosphere.
