A women rose
ผลงานศิลปะสะท้อนมุมมองของเด็กหญิงที่เติบโตในสังคมไทย ฉันเรียนรู้ว่าสภาพแวดล้อมในอดีตกับปัจจุบันนั้นแตกต่างกันมาก และพฤติกรรมหญิงไทยก็เปลี่ยนตาม ฉันค้นพบว่าผู้หญิงไทยสมัยนี้ส่วนใหญ่ รวมถึงตัวฉันเองพยายามที่จะเป็นคนสวยกันมากขึ้น
ซึ่งความสวยนี้หมายถึง การที่สามารถแสดงกริยาและการแต่งกายยั่วยวน และมีความละอายใจกับสิ่งที่กระทำน้อยลง เพียงเพราะต้องการดึงดูดเพศตรงข้ามมากขึ้น ถึงแม้ว่าจะขัดกับวัฒนธรรมไทยในอดีต
ผู้หญิงเรารู้สึกเหนื่อยบ้างไหม...ที่ต้องพยายามโชว์จนหมดเปลือกเพื่อให้คนสนใจในความสวยงามที่เรามีอยู่

CONCEPT :
A reflective journey from a Thai female student who growing up in Thai society. She spent much of her time observing the behavior of women that surrounded her. She noticed that many women gave high importance to beauty and provocativeness in their pursuit for ‘love’; some passing the point of shame. This art installation is a metaphorical of how Thai women’s behavior in today’s society try very hard to attract people in comparison to the form and shape of a red rose.
